ur goal is to provide a place where you feel at home and can grow in your relationship with God and as a person. We want to walk alongside of you in your journey through this life and provide you with the tools you need to become the person God created you to be. If you're not sure where to start, here are some steps you can take to begin your journey to a new life in Christ.
God loves us and offers salvation.
We live in a fallen world as a result of sin. Its destructive effects are seen and felt in nearly every corner of life. It erodes lives, destroys relationships, and separates people from God. Because of this, we all need to be set free from sin and made right with God.
The good news is God loves each of us and wants to form a dynamic relationship with us. But our sin stands in the way. Yet God so loved us that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for our sin. And because Christ loved us and was obedient to God the Father, He willingly offered up His own life, dying in our place.Today as a result of His sacrifice, you can receive forgiveness thruogh Christ and be set free from spiritual death - the penalty for our sin. This process of being saved is what Jesus called "being born-again." The Bible teaches that this gift of salvation brings eternal life. This is the central
message of Christianity and the most important decision anyone can make (John 3:3,5,16,17; Romans 10:9,10; Titus 2:11).
If you feel that you are ready to receive this forgiveness and accept Jesus into your heart, then all you need to do is say the sinner's prayer:
"Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge today that I am a sinner and that I am sorry for the life I have lived. I believe that your Son Jesus died on a cross for my sins and He rose again so that I may have a new life. Please forgive me of all my sins. I confess Jesus as Lord of my life and to rule over my heart from this day forward. Help me to live for you and to obey your word for the rest of my life. Thank you for your love and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen."
If you said this prayer and meant it with your heart, then welcome to God's family! To follow up with your commitment, spend time with God each day. It doesn't have to be long, just make it a daily habit to read the Bible and pray.
If you're interested in making this important step, our church offers a water baptism class, where you can learn the significance of what it means to publicly declare your decision to follow Christ. (See Events for the next class)
Water baptism is a symbolic step Jesus commanded of new believers. This process does not save a person, but serves as a public testimony signifying the death of an individual's sinful past and their new birth in Jesus Christ. In our church, baptism is reserved for older children and adults because it always follows a conscious decision to accept salvation in Christ. We baptize believers by immersing them in water. It's an important event in the life of the believer, confirming the changing power of Jesus Christ and a new identity in Him (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Romans 6:4).
We would love to be a part of your newfound walk in Christ. To become a member or to learn more on how you can grow as a believer, come out to one of our membership classes.
